About Our Training Programme

Two degree courses are offered concurrently, and take three years to complete:

• Bachelor of Divinity. Entry qualification is F.A. or F.Sc.
• Master of Divinity. Entry qualification is B.A. or B.Sc.

During their three years of training, students take:

• Biblical Studies, Hermeneutics and Systematic Theology (the Church's Message)
• Contemporary Students, Homiletics and Missiology (the Church's Mission)
• Church History (the Church's Movement)
• Practical and Pastoral Theology, including Discipleship, Ethics and Worship (the Church's Ministry)

1. M.Div. (B.A., B.Sc., M.A., M.Sc. or equivalent)

4. B.R.E. (F.A., F.Sc. or equivalent)

Admission

Students are admitted to the seminary only through the recommendations of:

1. Member church bodies,
2. Para-church organizations, or
3. Other non-member churches who meet the requirements of the seminary.

Theological Education by Extension

Since 1972, the Gujranwala Theological Seminary has been engaged in theological education by extension. The students can attain the degree of B.Th. after completing the study of 30 courses.
